All horses registered with CHBA must have a DNA profile (markers) on file. If your horse is missing a DNA profile and you cannot obtain one, then you will need to submit a hair sample to CHBA. We will receive the lab results and issue you a copy.

CHBA uses Animal Genetics Inc. for typing and parentage testing. Should we identify anomalies that might occur with the DNA results, we will contact you to send another hair sample for retesting.
